We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other incidental costs incurred by delegates in connection with a postponed or cancelled event.
9. Disclaimers
Our events provide informational and community programming for legal industry professionals. They are not a substitute for independent professional advice. Nothing presented at our events constitutes professional, regulated, or licensed advice of any kind.
Our website and event materials are provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
Speaker views expressed at events are their own and do not necessarily reflect the positions of Provenance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Provenance's total liability to you in connection with any event or service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific event or service.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses, including loss of business, loss of anticipated revenue, or reputational harm.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Provenance, its directors, staff, and contractors from any claims, costs, or damages arising from your breach of these terms, your conduct at our events, or your unauthorised use of event materials.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke registration for any event where we determine, at our reasonable discretion, that a delegate's conduct is inconsistent with the professional standards expected at our programmes.
For Annual Event Programme Partnerships, termination provisions are set out in the separate partnership agreement. Intellectual property clauses and payment obligations survive termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting us at [email protected] and allowing 20 business days for a response.
If informal resolution is not achieved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. Parties may also agree, in writing, to refer disputes to mediation under the Singapore Mediation Centre's rules.
