1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your browser or device when you visit. They help the website work properly, remember your preferences, and give the site owner basic information about how visitors use their pages.
Not all cookies do the same thing. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function. Others are optional and support analytics or communications about our events. You have control over the optional ones.
2. Cookies We Use
These cookies keep the website working. They include your saved cookie consent preference so you are not asked repeatedly. They cannot be switched off.
Duration: Session or up to 12 months · Provider: Provenance
These help us understand which pages are visited most, where visitors come from, and how they navigate the site. The data is anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from it.
Duration: Up to 14 months · Provider: Google Analytics (IP anonymisation enabled)
These measure how effectively we share information about forthcoming events and briefings. They help us understand whether people who visit our site found out about us through a particular channel.
Duration: Up to 90 days · Provider: Meta Pixel, Microsoft Bing
These remember choices you make while browsing, such as display preferences, so you do not have to reset them each time you visit.
Duration: Up to 12 months · Provider: Provenance
